Description

Simply prepared with a fruity extra-virgin olive oil, the Saint Georges recipe offers all the finesse of tinned sardines produced in the purest tradition. They are a perfect expression of la belle-iloise's artisanal expertise, the fruit of precise, delicate techniques handed down from generation to generation.

Caught when they are mature and in season, as close to Quiberon as possible, our sardines are processed fresh, by hand, within 24 hours of arrival. Meticulously selected, brined and trimmed, they are delicately placed in tins after cooking. Carefully aligned, we present them with their white undersides upwards, to show that they are still intact, before covering them with olive oil, to enrich and enhance the flavour of the fish.

Always reliable, our Saint Georges sardines can be enjoyed in many different ways: on buttered toast, in salads or tarts, with steamed potatoes, rice or pasta, or made into rillettes, with their firm yet melt-in-the-mouth texture, they are synonymous of excellence and our passion for offering you the best products!

Please note

SurMer ensures the cooling of the products until they reach the customer. As soon as the goods have been delivered by the post office (even if only deposited), the customer is responsible for the professional cooling of the products. All the ingredients in our boxes are packaged and well-sealed, and we use food safe chill packs and liners to insulate the box. These will keep all the ingredients perfectly chilled for 48 hours.

Cancellation policy

As this is a food item, if you need to cancel your order, we politely ask for a minimum of 72 hours’ notice to ensure we reduce food wastage.
