Description

Our Palourde clams are sustainably caught from a Harbour, a large natural harbour in Northern France. Most of the harbour is not very deep and with plenty of mud, it's the perfect habitat for these clams to thrive. When caught they have to be a minimum landing size of 3.5cm, any smaller and they will be put back in the waters to grow. A favourite among chefs, these clams offer a real taste of the sea with their fresh, salty aroma and sweet flavour. Easily prepared and cooked by simply steaming or boiling, Palourdes will compliment any dish with their delicious flavours and beautiful shell colours.

Please note

Sur Mer ensures the cooling of the products until they reach the customer. As soon as the goods have been delivered by the post office (even if only deposited), the customer is responsible for the professional cooling of the products. All the ingredients in our boxes are packaged and well-sealed, and we use food safe chill packs and liners to insulate the box. These will keep all the ingredients perfectly chilled for 48 hours.

Cancellation policy

As this is a food item, if you need to cancel your order, we politely ask for a minimum of 72 hours’ notice to ensure we reduce food wastage.
