Description

Spider crab is the best in the world - we honestly believe it to be true! The Spider Crab, despite it's fearsome appearance, has a sweet subtle flavour, highly-prized among connoisseurs of all things crustacean. A relatively recent resident of our waters, and currently only landed for a short season during the summer months, this gorgeous crab is already a firm favourite with al fresco foodies. All the crab that we source is pot-caught around the clear blue waters, and we source our spider crabs directly from small inshore boats. We humanely dispatch and cook the crab on site. When you buy spider crab from us, it will be 1 kg live weight. Make sure you have the tools to deal with it.

Each whole spider crab for sale is a main course for one person or great as a sharing starter for 2.

Please note

Sur Mer ensures the cooling of the products until they reach the customer. As soon as the goods have been delivered by the post office (even if only deposited), the customer is responsible for the professional cooling of the products. All the ingredients in our boxes are packaged and well-sealed, and we use food safe chill packs and liners to insulate the box. These will keep all the ingredients perfectly chilled for 48 hours.

Cancellation policy

As this is a food item, if you need to cancel your order, we politely ask for a minimum of 72 hours’ notice to ensure we reduce food wastage.

Crab contains healthy minerals including zinc, selenium and copper to help boost the immune system. Also Omega3 fatty acids are found in shellfish, such as fresh crab, which helps to lower blood pressure.

The crab is sourced wild.
